Farnell element14 has partnered with BitScope Designs to manufacture and distribute BitScope Micro, a full feature dual channel digital oscilloscope for Raspberry Pi.
BitScope Micro is also an eight channel logic analyser, waveform generator, clock generator and spectrum analyser all packaged in one low cost lightweight water resistant test probe.
BitScope Micro captures digital signals at up to 40 MSps and has a 20 MHz analogue bandwidth. The software supports frame rates beyond 20 Hz and includes a digital phosphor display. It is fully user programmable and downloads are freely available for Raspberry Pi, Linux, Windows and Macintosh.
BitScope Micro includes 10 mixed signal test clips, a USB cable and input terminators. It uses an industry standard IDC-10 connector for signal I/O. It offers programmable switching levels on two of the logic channels and impedance sensing, multiple ranges and a “macro mode” resolution of 12 bits on both analogue channels. It has standard oscilloscope input impedance (1M/10pF) so BNC adapters can be used to connect regular oscilloscope probes.

Priced at $149, BitScope Micro is available from Farnell element14 in Europe and CPC in the UK, Newark element14 and MCM in North American and element14 in APAC.
