Epson has launched a new home theatre projector in India. Bearing model number EH-TW6700, the projector is priced at Rs 1,29,759. The company claims that the home-cinema projector delivers up to 3,000 lumens of colour and white brightness. Epson EH-TW6700 boasts 1.6x optical zoom, as well as vertical (±60%) and horizontal (±24%) lens shifts for superbly aligned images. It has two built-in 10W stereo speakers that are claimed to deliver lifelike sound. With up to 5,000 hours eco-mode lifetime, users can watch a 150-minute long movie every day for five years, without needing replacement. Epson recently unveiled a new range of slim and ultra-portable projectors at CES 2017. These include the PowerLite 1795F, 1785W, 1781W and 1780W. The company says that the projectors are aimed at business travellers.
Epson’s new projectors feature a 3LCD, 3-chip technology for up to three times higher colour brightness and also up to three times wider colour gamut than competing DLP projectors. They support Chromecast, Roku and other MHL-enabled devices.
While the PowerLite 1780W, 1781W and 1785W all offer WXGA resolution projection support, the flagship PowerLite 1795F features 1080p resolution projection. Along with auto vertical keystone correction, the PowerLite 1781W, 1785W and 1795F have auto horizontal keystone correction and screen fit features that help in quickly adjusting images to fit any screen.
