Epson has launched a new home theatre projector in India. Bearing model number EH-TW8300, the projector has 4K and HDR support and is priced at Rs 2,41,339. It will replace Epson’s existing EH-TW8200 home cinema projector.
The new EH-TW8300 is claimed to have up to 2,500 lumens of colour brightness and 2,500 lumens of white brightness. Epson has also incorporated its 4K Enhancement Technology in the projector.
The new projector allows users to preset up to 10 positions for zoom, focus and lens shift functions, in both standard and wide cinema projection ratios. It comes with a lens shift technology that enables better installation flexibility with an increased range of up to ±96% on the vertical axis and up to ±47% on the horizontal axis.
Epson EH-TW8300 features an efficient cooling system which decreases the noise level to as low as 20dB. Moreover, it can transform 2D images to 3D as well.
Earlier this year, Epson launched its first duplex InkTank printer – L655, in India. Priced at Rs 24,999, the all-in-one printer includes ADF, Wi-Fi, fax and duplex features, along with an additional suite of connectivity functionalities.
The L655 is targeted at office and commercial environments. It claims to output prints that are water and smudge resistant. The printer is also capable of printing in resolution as high as 4800dpi.
Epson L655 supports automatic duplex printing which helps in reducing paper wastage. It is equipped with a 30-sheet ADF unit for scanning and copying of multi-page documents. The L655’s Broadcast Fax and PC Fax functions allow users to send faxes digitally with their computers. It also has a 100-page fax storage memory for incoming faxes, even if the printer is out of paper or ink.
Epson claims that the cost per print with the L655 is as low as 12 Paise (Black and White) and 20 Paise (Colour).
