Far Cry 6 roll-out date might have been leaked. Microsoft Store is showing 26th May 2021, as the latest launch date for the upcoming Far Cry game, created by Ubisoft Toronto who’s further behind 2018’s Far Cry 5 and the Watch Dogs: Legion. This is likely accidental or a placeholder, but this would not be the 1st time that Microsoft Store has given away the roll-out date for a forthcoming game.
Ubisoft Toronto has been working for 4yrs on Far Cry 6, and the game was officially proclaimed back in the month of July at a Ubisoft Forward event with a 2021’s February roll-out date. But then in late October, on the day of Watch Dogs: Legion’s launch, Ubisoft said that it was postponing Far Cry 6 owing to the happening pandemic that had affected the game’s production. If the latest May 2021 roll-out date is indeed precise, that would mean only a 3-month postponement on Far Cry 6.

Ubisoft Toronto has studied the Cuban Revolution to create Far Cry 6’s story and look, with the narrative director spending a month on the Caribbean island and is talking to real-life Cubans.
