Microsoft is all set to introduce pocket-friendly Lumia series. It had introduced Lumia 930 in July last year and now the firm reveals the successor of Lumia 930. If reports are to be believed , Microsoft is currently working on Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL. It is anticipated that the phones will come in a metal frame and flaunt a slim body.
The Lumia 940 is likely to feature a 13cm (5.2-inch) Quad HD display. It is expected to sport a 20MP Pure View sensor along with a 5MP front facing camera for selfie lovers. Powered by a hexa-core processor like the Snapdragon 808 on LG G4, Lumia 940 will have a USB Type C connector.
On the other hand, Lumia 940 XL is expected to have a 14cm (5.7-inch) screen and use a more powerful Snapdragon 810. Both the handsets are touted to be backed by a 3000mAh battery.
It is expected that Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL will run on Windows 10. If all goes as anticipated, the two smartphones will be introduced by the end of this year as Windows 10 will be unveiled for desktops and laptops, followed by smartphones and tablets.
