The NexTV Summit New Delhi edition concludes successfully with a motivating response from the key players in the TV industry. The summit was held on recently at Shangri-La’s Eros Hotel, New Delhi.
During this one-day summit, about 25 Executive Speakers from key players in the Industry debated on the future of TV in India in presence of an audience of about 120 executives of telecom and pay-tv operators, content aggregators and distributors, and TV channels among others.
The panel discussions focused on TV Everywhere & OTT in Delhi & India, Advanced Pay-TV Services, the future of FTA TV in India, Cable Digitization, Impact and Strategies for the future and Telecom Operators & video models. The key issues highlighted included the impact of implementation of 4G in solving connectivity issues, the growth of TV Everywhere and OTT initiatives and the different partnership models with TV industry players and the challenges for cable operators to meet the digitisation phase III 31 December 2015 deadline.
