Flipboard has come out with an iOS app update with SMS sharing, improved page profile and much more.
Flipboard has seeded an update for its app on iOS with the release of a new version 2.0.2.
The new version includes refreshed profile pages, improved sharing menu for sharing articles on social networks. It will also allow users discover magazines created by their more easily with a new ‘Friends category.
It is a striking social magazine application which would allow Apple users new profile pages, giving information about their readership and access to their social networks. It also allows users to share stories or magazines with others through text messaging.
Flipboard revealed that it created over 500,000 curated publications, suggesting that the new feature is very popular among users. A few other features include a camera- based option that allows users to save images directly onto the device and better naviagtion for Google Reader and RSS folders.
