Freedom 251 Smartphone: Website facing Trouble, Users Unable To Place Order

Ringing Bells has launched the world’s cheapest smartphone Freedom 251 priced at Rs 251. The company Freedomannounced that the customers can purchase the device from its website freedom251.com starting at 6am on February 18.

However, it seems the company’s website is facing glitches. We tried ordering the smartphone twice, but failed both the times. While early morning the website of the company was not opening, we tried again around 9am and this time while the website opened, when we clicked on the ‘buy now’ button, a new page opens which asked us to fill all our details. However, as soon as we clicked on ‘pay now’ button, the page refreshes and we are not able to order the smartphone.

Tech also spoke to few others who wanted to buy the smartphone and are facing same issue. Says, Nikita Singh, a student, “I have been trying to order a smartphone since morning, but have not been able too.”

On specifications front, Freedom 251 features a 4-inch qHD display with 960×540 pixels resolution.
