After being announced earlier this month, the Intex Aqua i7 is finally available now. The 12.7-cm (5-inch) full HD phablet is available for sale on online shopping portal Flipkart.com for Rs 21,699. This price point makes it an even interesting device. Most of the devices offering full HD display feature are priced above Rs 25,000.
Here’s a look at the specifications of Aqua i7. The phablet with 12.7-cm (5-inch) full HD display with a resolution of 1920X1080 pixels. It is packed with a Corning Gorilla Glass, that protects the device against any scratches and a 1.5GHz quad core MediaTek MT6589 processor. The Intex Aqua i7 features a 2GB RAM and 32GB of ROM. It runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.
What makes this device a good offering for Indians is the app called “Matrabhasha”. It is a multi-lingual application, which comes comes pre-loaded on Intex Aqua i7. The app offers support for 22 languages including Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, Gujarati, Sanskrit, Maithili, Marathi, Bodo, Santhali, Manipuri, Sindhi, Dogri, Konkani, Nepali and more.
On the camera front, the phablet features a 13-mega pixel rear camera, capable of recording videos in full HD format. It packs a 5-mega pixel camera on the front as well. Like many other phablets around, it appears to be heavy, measuring 7.88 mm in terms of thickness and weighs 149 grams. The connectivity features of Intex i7 include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GSM +WCDMA, 3G, FM Radio and Dual SIM capability. It has a 2,000mAh Li Ion battery and supports microSIM. The phablet can pose a competition to the likes of Lenovo K900.
