The Gionee Elife E7 Mini is now available in India at Rs. 19,500 via an e-commerce website.
The Elife E7 Mini debuted in India, alongside its bigger sibling the Elife E7, in December 2013. Unfortunately, the Chinese handset maker is yet to officially release the Elife E7 Mini for the Indian markets.
The Gionee Elife E7 Mini runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with the company’s custom Amigo 2.0 UI layer on top, much like the elder sibling the Gionee Elife E7. The Gionee Elife E7 is a single SIM device, but the mini-variant supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality.

It comes with 4.7-inch IPS IGZO display with a 720×1280 pixels resolution. The Gionee Elife E7 Mini is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core Mediatek MT6592 processor alongside a Mali 450MP4 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
The highlight of the Elife E7 mini is its 13-megapixel camera which comes with rotating capabilities; something we already saw on Oppo N1 smartphone. The Gionee Elife E7 Mini will be available in two colour variants: Pink and White.
It comes with 16GB inbuilt storage, which is non-expandable. Connectivity options on the Elife E7 Mini include Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/A-GPS and 3G. It comes with dimensions 139.8×66.2×8.6mm and weighs 142.9 grams. The Elife E7 Mini packs a 2200mAh battery, which the online retailer’s listing says can deliver up to 18 hours of talk time and up to 200 hours of standby time.
Earlier, Gionee launched what it calls the ‘world’s slimmest smartphone’ – Elife S5.5 – in India at Rs. 22,999.
The Elife S5.5 flaunts a thin metal frame chassis and the company claims it to be the world’s thinnest smartphone at 5.5mm, beating the previous record holder Vivo X3 at 5.75mm.
