Gionee Pioneer P4S, which was first unveiled last November, has been finally launched in India. The P4S is being released in the market with a price tag of Rs 7,799.
The device comes with an 11-cm (4.5 inch) FWVGA IPS screen with resolution of 480×854 pixels., it is likely to face battle against the newly launched Lenovo A6000 Plus, Xiaomi Redmi 2, Moto E 4G and Micromax Yu Yureka, though it does not match them in terms of features.
The phone has 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD. Pioneer P4S relies on a 1.3 GHz quad-core Mediatek processor and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Powered by a 1,800 mAh battery, it also comes with a window flip cover that enables user to see the time, date, weather and contacts during a phone call. Its connectivity options include 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and HotKnot.
The device has a 5 MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera, which is likely to capture 99 images in 21 seconds. the phone aims to provide ground-breaking technology to its users at an affordable price.
