Gionee is all set to launch its new smartphone Gionee S7 in India on April 4th.The smartphone was officially announced at MWC.International pricing for the S7 is at 399 Euros, which is approximately around Rs 27,800.
In terms of specifications, Gionee Elife S7 sports a 13.21-cm (5.2-inch) full HD Super AMOLED display, 64-bit MediaTek SoC which has a 1.7GHz octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It includes an internal storage of 16GB and sports a 13MP rear camera. The company plans to release Android 5.0 Lollipop software update for the Elife E7 users by May-June this year as well. Both the front and back of the phone have Corning Gorilla Glass 3, thereby protecting the phone from scratches. Packed with a 2750mAh battery, the Gionee Elife S7 is claimed to last for a whole day.
The phone that has a thickness of 5.5mm is said to be inspired by the U-shaped design of railways tracks. The metal used on the Elife S7 is aviation level aluminum magnesium alloy, making the build solid and durable with no worry of bending in pockets.
The Elife S7 is the first phone to run Gionee’s Amigo 3.0, which is based on Android 5.0Lollipop OS.S
