Gionee has launched its M2 and GPad G4 smartphones in the India. The handsets are priced in the affordable range with a price tag below Rs 20,000 for both of them.
The Chinese smartphone maker, said in a press release that the Gionee M2 features a 12.7-cm (5-inch) FWVGA display, powered by Android 4.2, and 1.3GHz quad-core processor. The phone also comes with dual-SIM support, an 8MP rear camera, a 2MP front camera, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage with micro-SD card slot. It is priced at Rs 10,999.
The Gionee M2 on the other hand has a massive 4,200 mAh battery and comes with connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The smartphone will compete with the handsets like Micromax Canvas Power (4,000 mAh battery).
The second smartphone, Gionee GPad G4 is priced at Rs 18,999. The hansdet features a 14.4-cm (5.7-inch) 1280 x 720p HD display, a 1.5GHz quad-core processor powered by Android 4.2. It also has a 13MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Gionee has packed the phone with a 3200 mAh battery, a dual-SIM support and the same connectivity options like M2.
The G4 is expected to be competing with phones like the Micromax Canvas Doodle 2, XOLO Q2000, LG G Pro Lite and Lenovo A850.
According to the Gionee release, M2 is already available in India, in Black and White colour options, while GPad G4 is being sold in Graphite Black and Silver metallic colours.
