Gionee has finally introduced the much-anticipated Elife E8. The flagship model is expected to venture into the Indian market by next month. The awaited device was launched at an event in Beijing with much hype.
The device sports a 15 cm (6-inch) Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2540 pixels. Powered by a 2GHz Mediatek MT6785 octa-core processor, it features 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop along with its own Amigo 3.1 software.
Repeating its history this time too, Gionee has tried to woo photo lovers with its exceptional camera. The new Elife E8 has 24MP rear camera capable of producing images with a resolution of up to 100MP. Interestingly, the device also claims to be the first Android smartphone to come with lossless imagery at 3X zoom. With an 8MP front-facing camera, Gionee Elife E8 would be a significant device for selfie lovers!
Backed by a 3500mAh battery, it supports fast charging. Its connectivity options include 4G, NFC, along with other options. Priced at Rs. 40,000, it is likely to have a biological fingerprint scanner.
