Gionee M6 With 5.5″ FHD Display & Snapdragon 652 Gets Certified In China
Gionee is all set to launch its latest M6 handset soon. The yet to be announced phone has now surfaced on Chinese certification site TENAA.
The TENAA listing details both the specifications and images of the smartphone. According to it, the M6 has a metallic unibody design and comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor at the rear panel.
As far as the specifications go, Gionee M6 sports a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor clubbed with 4GB of RAM. The handset offers 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded further using a microSD card. It also has dual-sim functionality and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
Gionee M6 sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera for selfies. Connectivity options of the device include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. There’s also a large 4,000mAh thrown into the mix.
The company is expected to launch the M6 on July 26, where it will also reveal details regarding the priceand availability.
Last month, Gionee launched its S6 Pro smartphone in China. The phone has a unibody metal design and also incorporates a fingerprint sensor, in addition to a USB Type-C port.
Gionee S6 Pro sports a 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The phone offers 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via microSD cards of up to 128GB in size. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system topped with Gionee’s Amigo OS.
