Gionee has unveiled its S8 smartphone at MWC 2016, Barcelona; the company also showcased its new logo. The new Gionee S8 smartphone offers 3D Touch, similar to what Apple uses in its new iPhones.
The device can recognize three types of force for apps — touch to select, tap to preview and hard press to run. Other interesting software features highlighted were dual WhatsApp and dual WeChat. Given it’s a dual-sim smartphone, these features will help users to use two different WhatsApp or WeChat accounts simultaneously.
