Gionee X1 smartphone launched at Rs 8,999

Gionee, in a bid to keep its grip tight in the budget smartphone market, launched its X1 handset in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 8,999 and is already up for grabs from select offline retailers. The handset also comes with certain offers.
On buying the Gionee X1 Airtel users will get up to 10GB data per month for up to six recharges. Buyers will also be receiving Paytm cashback vouchers, wherein they will get Rs 250 cashback on purchase of Rs 350 and above from Paytm mall.
Coming to the specifications, the Gionee X1 runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with an overlaid Amigo 4.0 UI. It has a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor, clubbed with
On the storage front, the Gionee X1 has a 16GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card (up to 256GB). There is an 8MP rear camera along with dual-tone LED flash. For selfie lovers, there’s an 8MP camera on the front.
As far as the connectivity is concerned, the Gionee X1 supports 4G LTE networks, micro USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3.5mm headphone jack.

The launch of the Gionee X1 comes few days after the launch of the Gionee A1 Lite. The Gionee A1 Lite comes with a price tag of Rs 14,999 and is already available to buy in the country.
