Google Fit App has reportedly been updated with many new additions. The Android App which was launched last year to track your fitness and workouts can now calculate distance and calories burned in a day, based on a user’s profile.
According to a post on Android’s Official Blog, you need to enter your information like gender, height and weight for the estimate. Apparently, the data entered should be correct so that you get the accurate results. The updated timeline also offers a detailed activity about levels and exercises through days, weeks or months.
The Google Fit App is now user-friendly for those who use it alongside an Android Wear watch as it displays the duration of the workout. Interestingly, it has also introduced a new Google Fit widget which will constantly remind the user about his/her activities. The application is available for download on the Google Play Store.
