Among several new cheap Chromebook laptops, Google announced that they will sell a mini computer called Chromebit. Basically, it will be a HDMI computer-on-a-stick that can plugged into any screen (TV, LCD) that has a HDMI port.
The all new Chromebit dongle from Asus can be plugged in any display with HDMI input and turns it into a full-fledged Chrome OS computer. The Chromebit is a full computer that will be available for less than $100. By simply plugging this device into any display, you can turn it into a computer. It’s the perfect upgrade for an existing desktop and will be really useful for schools and businesses. Asus Chromebit will be available in three colours and features Rockchip RK3288 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of SSD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and a USB 2.0 port on one end.
High-end Chromebook Flip is a convertible, ultra-portable laptop measuring in at just 15mm in thickness, and less than 2lbs in weight. The Flip also features an all-metal construction and a touch screen.
Haier’s Chromebook 11 ships with an 29.47-cm (11.6-inch) display, powered by a 1.8 gigahertz Rockchip RK3288 processor. Inside the 3.3-pound package, users will find 2 gigabytes of RAM, 16 gigabytes of eMMC flash storage, and a battery that the company claims will power the Chromebook 11 for up to 10 hours.
