Google Pixel,Chromecast Ultra pictures and specification leaked

Google’s upcoming Pixel smartphones have been in news for sometime now in the form of leaked images. The company recently confirmed it will be launching the handset on October 4. Now, just days ahead of its launch, images of the official press render of the Pixel smartphone has been leaked online. Details of upcoming Chromecast devices have also been revealed.
The images on Twitter, posted by Evan Blass – a popular tipster, shows the smartphone’s front panel. The display is seen running the Google Pixel launcher rumoured to be an exclusive to Pixel/Nexus handsets only. Pixel too is seen featuring on-screen buttons instead of any physical or capacitive buttons below the display. The power and volume buttons are placed on the right side.
As per the reports, the device will feature a fingerprint sensor at the back similar to the Nexus 5X and 6P handsets. Apart from them, a 5-inch full-HD display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB RAM, USB Type-C port, a 12MP rear camera, an 8MP front-facing camera, a 2770mAh battery, and Android 7.1 Nougat version are rumored to feature in Pixel. A separate Pixel XL might also be launched which would have all features of Pixel but with a larger 5.5-inch QHD display and a 3450mAh battery.
Google is also said to launch an upgraded version to Chromecast, the Chromecast Ultra. As per Android Police, Chromecast Ultra will support a 4K video resolution playback as well as HDR. It is rumoured to cost $69, which is almost twice the price of its predecessor. The images also reveal that the Chrome branding on the device will be replaced by Google’s ‘G’ insignia. The device will run on firmware v1.21, initially released as a beta to Chromecast Preview programme members.
The event might also witness the launch of a Google DayDream VR device, Daydream View. Not much is known about the headset device yet.
