The contest which started on the 1st of August, 2013 will be conducted in more than 25 cities. Interested applicants will have to register online on official website www.hcllearning.com/cdc/itkesuperstars with a nominal fee of Rs. 100/- and take up an online exam as per their convenience from “12th – 31st August 2013” at selected HCL CDC centre’s in their locality.

The online contest aims to create awareness amongst students (graduate, undergraduates, distance education and aspiring 10 + 2 students) and working IT professionals, and offers an opportunity to enhance their IT skill set to be job-ready and better their career opportunities. Furthermore, the winners get a chance to win 5000 Yuva Pratibha Scholarships worth Rs. 1 crore and up to 25% scholarships on job oriented programs upon joining HCL CDC
The first level of online preliminary round will happen at the centre level, the shortlisted candidates will compete against the centre level winners nationally. Based on the score and the scholarship slabs the students would be awarded scholarships and cash prizes. The winner would win a cash price of Rs. 75,000, and the first and second runner-up will get a cash price of Rs.50,000 and Rs.25,000 respectively. Also, all applicants will get a certificate of participation, receive career counseling by the CDC team and an opportunity to meet the Head of HCL Learning, Mr. Chetan Mahajan and get featured on HCL website, Facebook and newsletter.
