PowerObjects, an HCL Technologies Company, today announced it was named ‘Technology Innovator of the Year’ in Computing’s 2020 Technology Product Awards, which aim to recognize the very best of the UK’s technology industry. The ‘Technology Innovator of the Year’ is awarded to the company that demonstrated the highest levels of original thought and action resulting in measurable success throughout 2019 and 2020.
HCL-PowerObjects won the award for its achievements in Power Platform, Microsoft’s technology stack designed to unlock the potential of Dynamics 365 and Office 365. The award nomination highlighted application design work that HCL-PowerObjects has completed with Power Apps, a component of Power Platform, for several Fortune 100 and 500 companies. It also featured the PowerObjects Sales Tool Belt, a fully customizable canvas app that was replicated across more than a dozen field service organizations.
In addition, HCL-PowerObjects was recognized for facilitating ‘App-in-a-Day’ workshops and hackathons in the UK and Northern Europe. The award win was also driven by the company’s work designing a curriculum that helps organizations to implement Power Platform within a governance structure that empowers system administrators to balance business productivity with risk management and security.
The Computing Technology Product Awards attract hundreds of nominations each year. In the coveted ‘Technology Innovator of the Year’ category, HCL Technologies was initially shortlisted along with 10 other technology companies across the UK. Emerging as the ultimate winner solidifies HCL-PowerObjects’ position within the UK and around the world as a best-in-class innovator in the technology space.
