Here’s when Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 1, Nokia 9 may launch in India
HMD has already confirmed its presence at the upcoming MWC 2018 conference but has not yet revealed as to which Nokia-branded handsets it will be launching. That said, a new report coming from Nokia Power User website seems to have indirectly mentioned at least three smartphones that may be seeing the light of the day at the MWC 2018 conference and will eventually be making their way to India.
The three smartphones mentioned are Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 1 and the Nokia 9, which will likely be the flagship smartphone of the year. It is worth adding that HMD has already launched the Nokia 6 (2018) in China. We may see its global launch at MWC 2018. The other two smartphones have been making rounds on the web in the form of rumours and leaks. Out of the remaining two, Nokia 1 is being said to be branded under Google’s Android Oreo (Go Edition) segment.
As for their availability in India, the report says that the Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 1 and Nokia 9 will be will be arriving the shores starting April this year. Also mentioned is that all three are not likely to arrive at the same time.
Nokia 9, going by the rumoured specifications, will be the most powerful smartphone made by HMD till date. It has already been listed on FCC, revealing some of the purported specifications. According to the listing, Nokia 9 has a 5.5-inch OLED display and a dual-rear camera setup of 12MP+13MP. At the front, there is a 5MP snapper, which incidentally is lower than the Nokia 8’s 13MP front facing camera. The handset is backed by a 3250mAh battery with fast charging support and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.
