Hero Future Energies Expands Data Resilience With Druva, Slashing Management Time by 99%

The Challenge           

The three-person IT staff at Hero Future Energies is modest yet effective. The company has a limited team because they believe in the modern ideal platform where the systems do most of the heavy lifting and the team only uses their resources and intelligence to manage the systems. This puts a lot of pressure on the team to choose the right systems. Initially, HFE would back up the company’s data on-premises using tape drives; however, it was time-consuming and increased the organization’s risk.

The company recently began its transition to the cloud, seeking to break from tape-based backups as well as backups of Microsoft File Servers and more than 300 devices.
