HP Announces World’s Smallest All-In-One Printer At Rs 7,176

After launching world’s ‘thinnest’ laptop Spectre, HP launched the DeskJet Ink Advantage 3700 today at Rs 7,176. Claiming it to be the hp-printer-new‘world’s smallest printer’, the company is banking on its compact design and features, such as scan/copy directly from Facebook or Instagram to sell the device.

Available in Seagrass Green, Electric Blue, and Cardinal Red colour options, according to HP, the DeskJet Ink Advantage 3700 will print up to 480 black-and-white pages on a single cartridge.

According to Parishit Singh Tomar, Director – Printing Systems at HP, the company is looking at manufacturing products which are more consumer-efficient and match a user’s lifestyle.

By virtue of its compact design and affordable price, HP, with its latest offering is aiming at the student community to grab the device with open arms.

With a seamlessly connectivity with smartphones through the HP All-in-One Remote mobile application, the DeskJet Ink Advantage 3700 is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. Using WiFi, consumers can immediately begin printing once connected.

The printer supports the HP Social Media Snapshots application, which conveniently prints and scans directly from a user’s social media handle.

The all-in-one printer will be available to users from September 26, 2016.

Earlier this year, HP launched the world’s ‘thinnest’ laptop HP Spectre, in India. Prices at Rs 1,19,990, the laptop measures 10.4mm (0.41-inch) at its thickest point. This makes it slimmer than the 12-inch MacBook (0.52- inch) and MacBook Air (0.68-inch).

Another USP of the laptop is its copper-carbon fibre design, which gives it a premium look. It features a 13.3-inch full HD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. There’s 8GB LDDR3 RAM and 512GB SSD storage, along with 6th generation Intel Core i5/i7 processors thrown into the mix.
