HTC Desire 816 will be available across the country at Rs 18,990 and HTC Desire 820 will be shipped in India in November.
ITVoice News: Keeping in mind the upcoming festive season, HTC has introduced two new smartphones in India. The company has launched HTC Desire 816G and HTC Desire 820 at an event in New Delhi today. Let’s talk
about HTC Desire 816G first. Touting it’s predecessor, the HTC Desire 816 as one of the most victorious devices launched by the company, Faisal Siddiqui, vice president and country head, India at HTC, said, “The HTC Desire 816G dual simple brings an exciting mixture of big screen, great specs at an amazing price.” The smartphone sports a 13.97-cm (5.5-inch) screen and runs on a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. It is packed with two cameras with a 13 MP rear – facing shooter with HTC Zoe, as well as a 5 MP front camera. The HTC Desire 816G offers dual SIR slots and will be available across the country at Rs 18,990.
The other device introduced in India is HTC Desire 820. The latest entrant of the Desire family of smartphones comes in two variants- the HTC Desire 820 powered by the Snapdragon 615 processor with octa-core CPU with a 64 bit processing capability; and the HTC Desire 820q, which is powered by the 64 bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor. Both the variants of HTC Desire 820 come integrated with 4G LTE Cat 4 connectivity, multi core CPUs and 13.97-cm (5.5-inch) high definition screen. The company has not revealed the price of the device. The HTC Desire 820 will be shipped in India in November.
