HTC has launched a new octa-core processor-powered budget smartphone – Desire 526G+ Dual Sim. The 8GB storage variant of the phone will be sold exclusively on online marketplace Snapdeal at Rs 10,400, while the 16GB version will be available through all retail stores at Rs 11,400.
Apart from the differences in the internal storage, rest of the features of the two variants of HTC Desire 526G+ are the same. The latest HTC smartphone sports an 11.9-cm (4.7-inch) qHD (960×540 pixels) display offering a density of 234ppi. The HTC Desire 526G+ runs on a 1.7GHz octa-core processor, and is equipped with 1GB of RAM.
On the camera front, it has an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter. The company has added a 2000 mAh battery to the smartphone, along with a microSD card support. The connectivity options of HTC Desire 526G+ are 3G support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and features HTC Sense UI. The smartphone is poised to compete against the likes of Micromax Canvas Nitro A310 and the Yu Yureka.
