HTC One Max photos leaked online

htcNEW DELHI: Phablets are in nowadays and it seems that HTC does not want to be left behind in this booming segment. Images of HTC’s much-talked about One Max phablet have leaked online again. The leaked images of the device come from the database of Tenaa, China’s independent official communications agency.

There have been speculations that the phablet would release in China first and with these images, it is likely that the device hits the world’s biggest mobile market ahead of the international market. The Chinese version of the device is said to have a removable back and supports microSD card, both features are reported to be missing from the international version.

Several HTC One Max images have leaked in the past as well. The new images suggest that the company would continue with the design language it introduced with HTC One in this handset as well. The phone will have Boom Sound speakers above and below the display and a fingerprint scanner on the back.

Earlier leaks suggest that the device would be bigger in size than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, with a display of 5.9-inch.

As for the HTC One Max specs, speculations suggest a full HD (1920x1080p) display resolution and Google Android 4.3 operating system. The phone is said to pack a 1.7GHz quad-core processor, though it is not clear which chipset will be used Snapdragon 600 (same as used in HTC One) or the older Snapdragon S4 Pro. Other rumoured specifications of the phablet include 16GB internal storage, 3,300mAh battery, 2GB RAM and 4MP Ultra Pixel camera.

Though there is no official word from HTC about the device, it is expected to be announced in October. It is also said to be working on a tablet that bears HTC One design language.
