HTC Powerful Butterfly 3 Phone Flutters Into The Global Market

HTC which introduced Butterfly 3 in Japan, has now unveiled the handset for its global customers. Priced at Rs 39,900, the phone will be available in Taiwan and other countries from October 15. However, the company has still not revealed pricing and availability details of the new smartphone in India.

HTC Butterfly 3 sports a 13.97cm (5.2-inch) Quad HD display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Octa-Core (quad core 2.0GHz + quad core 1.5GHz) 64-bit processor coupled with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB RAM, the phone comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded to 2TB via microSD. Backed by a 2700mAh battery, the device supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology.

The phone runs on Android Lollipop 5.0. It sports a massive 20MP Duo Camera setup with dual LED, dual tone flash as well as a robust 13MP front-facing camera. With the connectivity of 4G, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, GPRS/ EDGE and NFC, the handset is expected to be available with water and dust resistance.
