HTC and Valve Corporation have designed a virtual reality headset that takes gaming to a whole new level. The Vive VR literally takes you inside the game. It comes with two 1080*1200 OLED displays, one for each eye giving you a 100 degree field view.
The headset is quite bulky. One has to be strapped with a few wires around their head. The wires are connected to the PC. There are also two wireless controllers which come with a clickable touchpad. However, it’s nothing when compared to what it promises.
HTC will make the headsets available in the market only from April 2016. There are definitely a few stumbling blocks that one must take care of before going for the headset. If your desktop is a couple of years old, the Vive VR will not run on it. There is no clarification regarding the gadget being used on existing gaming consoles and if so, then how. There is no information with respect to the pricing.
