ITVoice News: Huawei has introduced a new tablet, named as Honor tablet in the Malaysian market for 599 ringgits ($183). The tablet will go online for pre-orders from today onwards. Also, for India tech savy’s to know, Huawei is hosting a press event in New Delhi today, possibly for Honor 6 launch in the country.Moreover, it is possible that the Honor tablet will also make appearance on the same day.
The new Huawei Honor tablet sports 20.32-cm (8-inch) HD IPS screen with 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.3 with Emotion UI 1.6. The tablet supports 4800 mAh battery and comes with 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage space which is further expandable using a microSD card. The company has also included 3G, voice-calling support, GPS and Wi-Fi. It has 5MP rear view camera and 0.3MP front shooter.
The Honor 6 smartphone, which is likely to be launched today at the New Delhi event, packs a 12.7-cm (5-inch) display powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core Hi-Silicon Kirin 920 processor with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage space which is further expandable via microSD card slot. The smartphone supports 3100mAh battery with 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.
