With an aim to expand its popularity in the Indian market, Chinese tech giant Huawei has announced a price-cut for its much hyped Honor 6. The device which was previously priced at Rs 17,999, will now cost Rs. 16,999. However, the Huawei Honor 6 was launched in the Indian market at Rs. 19,999, which means that the handset has received a total price cut of Rs. 3000 till now.
If we recall, the device comes with 12.7cm (5-inch) HD display with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Powered by a Huawei Kirin 920 octa-core processor, the phone offers 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD.
Huawei Honor 6 runs on Android KitKat 4.4 with Emotion 2.3 UI and features a 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP front facing camera. Backed by removable 3100mAh battery, the device comes with the connectivity options of 3G, 4G (only Band 3 FDD LTE), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. The product would be available on Flipkart. Interestingly, Xiaomi has also announced a price-cut for Redmi 2.
