Chinese smartphone maker Huawei launched its flagship smartphone Honor V10 recently at an event in London. The company has now revealed that will launch the same smartphone in India on January 8. The smartphone will come in Blue and Black colour options and will go on sale globally on January 8, 2018.
Launched in September in China, this is the first smartphone of the company to come with an AI processor. The device sports a bezel less display and dual rear camera setup. The Honor V10 comes with a 5.99-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2160 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box and is powered by the company’s own octa-core Kirin 970 processor.
The Huawei Honor V10 comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The users can add more storage by inserting a microSD card of up to 128GB. The hybrid dual SIM device consists of a 16MP RGB sensor and a 20MP monochrome sensor. The company claims that the camera incorporates artificial intelligence engine which offers Real-Time Scene. With the help of this technology the smartphone can identify 13 different types of scenes and objects and automatically adjusts the camera settings for the perfect shot. There is also a 13MP front camera onboard which also supports AI. The users can capture beautiful selfies and can also unlock the smartphone using the front camera.
The smartphone comes with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 3,750 mAh battery. The battery comes with fast charging support and the company claims that it can charge from 0 to 50% in just half an hour. Measuring 157 x 74.98 x 6.97mm, the smartphone offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type C and NFC as connectivity options.
