Huawei has launched a cheaper variant of its Huawei Mate 9 smartphone in China. Called Mate 9 Lite, the smartphone comes with dual-camera setup similar to Mate 9 the Mate 9 Pro. It uses a 12-megapixel with 1.25m pixel size, PDAF for 0.3-second quick focus along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera for capturing depth information. It also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
Huawei Mate 9 Lite comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. The handset runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is powered by an octa-core Kirin 655 processor. The device offers 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. The users can also install a microSD card of up to 256GB to further expand the storage.
The smartphone comes with hybrid dual-SIM functionality and also incorporates a fingerprint sensor mounted on the rear panel. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and is backed by a 3,340 mAh battery.
Huawei Mate 9 Lite flaunts a metal unibody and comes in Gray, Gold and Silver colour options.
Recently, Huawei unveiled Mate 9 Pro smartphone at an event in China.
The company launched Mate 9 Pro smartphone in China recently. The Android 7.0 Nougat-based Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a 5.5-inch dual edge curved AMOLED display with QHD (2560×1440 pixels) resolution, unlike the standard version’s 5.9-inch full-HD flat display. It is powered by an octa-core HiSilcon Kirin 960 processor that was recently launched by the company.
On the optics front, the smartphone includes second-generation Leica cameras. It has a dual-camera setup, comprised of a 20MP monochrome module and a 12MP colour module. An 8MP front-facing camera takes care of selfies and video calling tasks. For connectivity, Huawei Mate 9 Pro offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It packs a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support.
