Huawei has just unveiled the P9 Lite handset in Europe carrying an attractive hardware specs sheet and a decent price tag. There’s no word on an Indian release yet, but the handset has been priced at 299 Euros which roughly translates to Rs 22,400.
The smartphone is not exactly your conventional ‘Lite’ device, so don’t get fooled by the name. It’s packing the company’s home-grown Kirin 650 octa-core processor, which makes it a powerhouse in terms of performance.
The handset will be officially available for purchase in Europe next month, so we’re guessing an Indian launch will commence shortly after. Don’t get fooled by the bloated pricing as it probably accounts for the exorbitant taxes that are levied on European devices.
