The iBall Slide 1044 tablet is expected to make its official debut in India soon and the slate has some pretty interesting features onboard, especially in the CPU department. The device is basically one of the first Android Tablets from a local OEM to use the Intel Bay Trail.
iBall Slide 1044 is powered by quad core Intel Atom Z3735G processor and 1 GB RAM. Atom Z3735G is the variant of Z3735F that is found on most of the local OEM tablets. The chip is widely used by HP and Lenovo in budget Windows 8.1 powered tablets. Atom Z3537G has 8 GB of internal storage and microSD card slot that supports up to 64 GB of external memory.
iBall Slide 10144 sports 25.4-cm (10-inch) LCD display of 1280 x 800 px resolution. The device features 2 MP of primary camera and VGA front facing camera. iBall Slide 1044 runs Android 4.4 KitKat. We are expecting the company to push Android 5.0 Lollipop in near future but there is no official confirmation about it yet.
On the connectivity front, the tablet offers WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, miniHDMI output and USB OTG support. The USB OTG cable can also be used to connect 3G dongles. The device does not feature any SIM card support. The tablet is fueled by 4000 mAh battery that can last for up to 10 hours on moderate usage.
There is no confirmation about the price of iBall Slide 1044 yet. The company has flaunted the device on its official website.
