iBall, after launching its Slide 6531-Q40 tablet last month, has now launched its first octa-core tablet, the Slide Octa A41, priced at Rs. 12,999. The tablet is available via an e-commerce website. The firm however, is yet to announce the tablet officially.
The iBall Slide Octa A41 runs Android 4.4 KitKat and features a 7-inch IPS full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) display with a 323ppi pixel density. It is powered by an unspecified 1.7GHz octa-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor alongside 2GB of RAM.
The single-SIM voice-calling tablet sports an autofocus 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flashing, while it also houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Slide Octa A41 includes 16GB of inbuilt storage that is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
It packs a 3500mAh battery and includes Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB connectivity features. The iBall Slide Octa A41 measures 193x115x8mm and is availablein a Black colour variant from Flipkart.
Last month, iBall launched a Wi-Fi only tablet, the Slide 6531-Q40, priced at Rs. 4,299 (Rs. 4,999 MRP).
Some of the key specifications of the Slide 6531-Q40 are 7-inch IPS (480×800 pixels) WVGA display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 2-megapixel rear camera, 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 8GB of inbuilt storage that is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB) and 2500mAh battery. Apart from Wi-Fi (802.11), the tablet supports Bluetooth, Micro-USB and USB OTG (on-the-go) connectivity options.
The firm also launched the 2-in-1 Windows 8.1 tablet hybrid, called the iBall Slide WQ149, at Rs. 21,999 last month.
