iBall recently launched an affordable smartphone in the Indian market. Dubbed as Andi 5U Platino, the device happens to be iBall’s latest offering under its Andi series. Priced at Rs. 4599, the entry level handset is suitable for first time smartphone buyers. It comes with multi-regional language support for 21 Indian regional languages and built-in support for 9 regional system languages.
If we talk about the specifications, iBall Andi 5U Platino sports a 12.7cm (5-inch) QHD display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. Powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 512MB RAM, the phone comes with 8GB of in-built storage with expandability via microSD card. Packed with a 2000mAh battery, the device is available only in Black variant.
The phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It features a decent 8MP rear camera with LED flash, besides a 0.3MP front-facing snapper for capturing selfies. With the connectivity of 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth, it comes with proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor and gyroscope.
