Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad recently launched its budget smartphone Conjr at CES 2017. The company has now announced that it will launch the same smartphone in India this month. Conjr supports dual-SIM cards and runs the Cool UI 8.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The Chinese company is yet to reveal whether the smartphone will get the Android 7.0 Nougat OS version. The device features a 5-inch IPS HD (720×1280 pixels) display with 294 ppi pixel density and a 70.6% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood it is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6735CP processor, clubbed with an ARM Mali-450 GPU and 3GB RAM. The Coolpad Conjr comes with an inbuilt 16GB storage, which can be expanded to 64GB through a microSD card. In the camera department, the smartphone features a 13MP autofocus rear camera with 5P Lens and f/2.2 aperture. An 8MP fixed focus camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture has been added on the front. The cameras can record videos in up to 720p at 30fps and can playback videos of up to 1080p at 30fps. On the connectivity front, the smartphone supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, 4G LTE and GPS. It is backed by a 2,500mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 30 hours of talk time on 4G LTE networks. The handset measures 145.2×72.3×8.6mm and has a fingerprint sensor at the back, too. The sensor lets users open different apps besides unlocking the smartphone. A week ago, Coolpad launched its Cool1 smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 13,999, the smartphone is also one of the cheapest Android devices to come with a dual rear camera setup.
