InFocus has its Buddy laptop in India. The 13-inch notebook will exclusively be available on Snapdeal, and is priced competitively at Rs. 14,999.
Talking about the specifications, the InFocus Buddy runs 64-bit Windows 10, and has a 13.3-inch HD (1366×768 pixels) display. It is powered by an Intel Braswell Celeron processor (2 cores, 2 threads, 1.6GHz base frequency, 2.16GHz Burst frequency, 2MB L2 Cache), that is paired with Intel HD Graphics and 2GB of DDR3L RAM.
The InFocus Buddy offers a base 32GB of inbuilt storage space, but offers flexibility to raise the internal storage up to 256GB via an additional SSD slot. It also bears an SD card reader. The battery life is pegged to last for 8 hours. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi standard 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, a microSD slot, two USB 3.0 port, HDMI port, and a webcam in the front.
The InFocus notebook is available in two colour options – Gold and Silver. The notebook weighs less than 1.6kg, and sports a thickness of 18mm.
InFocus provides one year warranty with the notebook, while Snapdeal also promises a swap warranty to its customers. This means that if the device is found to have any hardware defect, the company will replace the device with a new one.
In May, InFocus launched the Bingo 10 smartphone in India for Rs. 4,299. Again, this smartphone was a Snapdeal exclusive, and ran on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. Just to recap, the InFocus Bingo 10 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6580A) processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage.
The dual-SIM device is backed by a 2000mAh battery. The smartphone sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Connectivity options on the Bingo 10 smartphone include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB.
