Infosys CFO Rajiv Bansal resigns,MD Ranganath To Take Charge
Rajiv worked in different capacities at Cable & Wireless, Tata Technologies and ABB, before joining Infosys. Head of strategic operations and CEO’s office, Ranganath Mavinakere has replaced him. He was responsible for corporate finance, business finance, operations planning and assurance, investor relations. He was also responsible for taxation for the company.
Mr Mavinakere has held several leadership positions with Infosys for 15 years. Currently, he is heading the strategic operations and is responsible for risk management, strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions and corporate marketing.
Earlier, at the company, for over five years, he was the chief risk officer. He was responsible for looking after the entire risk management program.
By profession, the ex-CFO Bansal is a chartered accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Calcutta University. A gold medalist, Bansal ranked third in the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI).
Bansal has over 20 years of experience. In 1999, as finance manager, he joined Infosys. Prior to becoming the CFO, Rajiv was vice president and head of finance and had key priorities like supporting the company’s growth, managing cr.
