Instagram recently rolled out another feature for the users that will bring smiles to their faces. Now the users can recover their deleted posts within the time span of 30 days. This will help you recover your photos, IGTV videos, videos, Reels, and even stories from now on. Additionally, it will provide a much-needed safeguard against hackers.
Once dubbed as a photo-sharing app, Instagram has become a massive marketing tool for companies, influencers, and politicians. With over 1 billion active users in a month, it easily brags about being the 4th on the list of most users on a mobile application. And thus, it becomes necessary for any user to control the content and keep it safe.
The significance of the new feature could be understood by the fact that 90% of Instagram users follow a business.
For a long time, Instagram users have been complaining about losing their content but now it seems they will have a Recycle Bin for their posts.
Why is this feature relevant? The feature also becomes relevant as many times when the account gets compromised, the hackers delete the content. This leaves the real owners in awe. Although getting your account hacked is still upsetting but as a consolation, it will give the user control over deleting and restoring the post.
