Intex has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of a new smartphone. Dubbed Aqua Strong 5.1+ , the handset is priced at Rs 5,490 and comes equipped with numerous value added services such as MiFon Security (a 9-in-1 security suite aimed at making the device secure) and VdioPlay (a video aggregator app that offers access to best of free and premium OTT content in one place). Available in Black and Gold colour options, the handset can be purchased from all leading retail and online stores across the country.
In terms of specifications, Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ features a 5-inch FWVGA display of 480×854 pixel resolution. The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core SoC, paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
The dual-SIM smartphone supports microSD cards of up to 64GB in size. For imaging duties, Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ has a 5MP rear camera (with LED flash) and a 2MP front-facing snapper. Backed by a 2,000mAh battery, the handset offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as major connectivity options.
Last month, Intex launched its Aqua Lions 4G smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 5,499, the handset sports a 5-inch display of 480×854 pixel resolution. It’s powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex A7 Spreadtrum SoC paired with 1GB of RAM. There’s 8GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 32GB in size. The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
For imaging duties, the Intex Aqua Lions 4G has a 5MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, in addition to a 2MP front-facing snapper. Connectivity options in the handset include 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, with a 2,000mAh battery rounding off the spec sheet.
