Intex has launched a new budget smartphone in India. Dubbed Aqua Young 4G, the handset is priced at Rs 5,549 and will be available in Champagne and Blue colour options.
The Aqua Young 4G runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and features a 5-inch FWVGA display. It is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor, clubbed with 1GB of RAM. There’s also 8GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards of 32GB in size.
For imaging duties, the Intex Aqua Young 4G has a 5MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing snapper. Connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, with a 2,800mAh battery rounding off the spec sheet.
Last month, Intex launched its Cloud Q11 4G budget smartphone. Priced at Rs 6,190, one of the key features of the smartphone is Intex’s own LFTY platform. It’s similar to Google Now and shows a feed of curated information such as news, driving directions etc., accessible by swiping from the left of the screen.
In terms of specifications, the Intex Cloud Q11 4G features a 5.5-inch HD display of 720×1280 pixel resolution. Powered by a 1.2GHz MediaTek MT6737 processor paired with 1GB of RAM, the smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. There’s also 8GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards of 32GB in size.
For imaging duties, the Intex Cloud Q11 4G has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, along with a 5MP front camera. It is backed by a 2,800mAh battery and offers 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as major connectivity options.
