Indian mobile handset company Intex has recently introduced a pocket-friendly smartphone named the Aqua Star II HD. The device comes with a 13cm (5-inch) HD IPS display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels.
The phone has 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD. Aqua Star II HD relies on a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. Powered by a 2,000 mAh battery, it can deliver up to 6 hours of talk time, and up to 250 hours of standby time.
The 3G-enabled smartphone’s connectivity options also include GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a micro-USB slot. It features an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera with features such as LED flash, scene detection, face recognition, panorama, geo-tagging, best shot, smile shot, and HDR options. Priced at Rs. 6,590 the handset will be available across India via retail and online stores.
