Domestic smartphone maker Intex has expanded its product line-up in the country. The company has launched three new 4G-enabled smartphones – Aqua Crystal, Aqua Supreme+ and Aqua 4.0. Intex Aqua Crystal is priced at Rs 6,990 and comes with a 5-inch HD display of 720×1280 pixel resolution. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box, it is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek SoC paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards of 32GB in size. For imaging duties, the Aqua Crystal sports an 8MP rear camera (with LED flash) and a 5MP front-facing shooter. It’s backed by a 2,100mAh battery. On the other hand, the Intex Aqua Supreme+ features a 5-inch HD resolution display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 128GB in size. The dual-SIM handset has a 3,000mAh battery and is backed by a 13MP primary camera with LED flash, in addition to a 5MP selfie snapper. It’s priced at Rs 9,490.
The Aqua 4.0 is the cheapest of the three new smartphones, having a price tag of Rs 4,199. It has a 4-inch display and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor and offers 512MB of RAM with 4GB of internal storage, in addition to having support for microSD cards of up to 32GB in size. Backed by a 1,500mAh battery, the smartphone has a 2MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing shooter.
The smartphones support for regional-language keyboards and have ‘matrabhasha’ word prediction functionality.
