Intex has announced its latest offering under Aqua series. Dubbed as Aqua Ace, the new phone happens to be the first handset in 10k-15K segments of smartphones. Priced at Rs. 12,999, the 4G-enabled device comes with 1-year screen breakage warranty along with a complementary bag pack as well as a sensor-based flip cover.
The Intex Aqua Ace sports a 13.7cm (5-inch) HD Super Amoled IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core Processor – Mediatek (MT6735) chipset coupled with 3GB RAM, the phone comes with 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded to 128GB via microSD. Backed by a 2300mAh battery, the device claims to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby time.
The phone runs on Android Lollipop 5.1. It sports a massive 13MP rear camera with Samsung sensor and LED flash as well as a 5MP front-facing camera. Its camera includes features like Gesture capture, HDR, flash, live photo mode, motion track mode, capture while recording, face detection, voice capture, Panorama mode, multi-angle view mode anti-shake camera.
With the connectivity of Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and FM, the handset is expected to be available in black and white variants. It also comes with interesting features like Smart Wake, Smart Motion and Cast Screen. While Smart Wake enables its user to access the camera, music and files without unlocking the phone, Smart Motion allows one to answer the call without touching the handset.
