Karbonn Announces Android Lollipop Based A91 At Rs 2,899

Karbonn Mobiles  launched its A91 Storm smartphone. Priced at Rs 2,899, the Android Lollipop-based smartphone is available on Amazon India in Black colour. The dual-sim A91 features a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels.

Karbonn A91 Storm is powered by a 1.2 quad-core processor coupled with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal memory, with support for up 32GB microSD cards. The device includes a 2MP rear camera with LED Flash and a VGA selfie camera.

The A91 is a 3G smartphone and offers FM radio, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, along with standard connectivity options. It is powered by a 2,200mAh battery.

Intex recently launched a similar handset at a price of Rs 2,999. Dubbed the Aqua 3G Pro Q, the smartphone boasts a 4-inch WVGA display and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is also the successor to Intex’s Aqua 3G Pro, which was launched last year at a price of Rs 3,666.

The dual-sim smartphone is powered by a 1.2Ghz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731C chipset and has 512MB RAM. Intex Aqua 3G Pro Q has 4GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable upto 32GB via a microSD card slot. It packs a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front-facing shooter.

The phone is backed by a 1,300mAh battery and comes pre-loaded with various apps like Matrabhasha, 360 security, Newshunt, Hike and Opera Mini.
