Karbonn K9 Music 4G smartphone launched at Rs 4,990

Domestic handset manufacturer Karbonn has expanded its product lineup with the launch of K9 Music 4G smartphone. As the name suggests the smartphone is designed for the music lovers.

Price and availability
The Karbonn K9 Music 4G smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 4,990. The device is available in Blue and Champagne colour options across leading retail stores in the country. Going by the price the smartphone will face competition from recently launched Xiaomi Redmi 4A and the 10.or D smartphone.

Specifications
The Karbonn K9 Music 4G comes with a 5-inch FWVGA display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution. The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor.
The device offers 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. Users can further expand the storage up to 32GB by adding a microSD card. The dual SIM device sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front shooter for selfies.

The smartphone is backed by a 2200mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB OTG as connectivity options.

Recently, Karbonn partnered with telecom operator Airtel and launched an affordable 4G smartphone in the market. As part of the association, the company launched the Karbonn A40 Indian smartphone. The device comes with an effective price tag of Rs 1,399. The device comes bundled with a monthly pack of Rs 169 from Airtel. The pack offers the benefits of both data and calling.

The company revealed that at the time of purchase the customers will have to pay Rs 2,899 and recharge their smartphone for the period of 36 months. Then after the period of 18 months customers will get cash refund of Rs 500 and after completion of 36 months, they will get cash refund of Rs 1,000.
