Karbonn launches K9 Kavach, K9 Smart Grand, K9 Smart selfie, A1 Indian smartphones in India

Indian smartphone brand Karbonn has expanded its smartphone range in India with the launch of four new ultra-budget handsets — Karbonn K9 Kavach, Karbonn K9 Smart Grand, K9 Smart selfie and A1 Indian. In addition to this, the company is also offering special discounts on its best-selling devices.

Karbonn K9 Kavach
Priced at Rs 5,290, this handset comes with a 5-inch HD IPS screen with 720x1280p resolution. It is powered by a 1.25Ghz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and is backed by a 2300mAh battery. The smartphone sports a 5MP camera at both front and back. The K9 Kavach comes with 8GB internal storage and a microSD card support of up to 32GB. In terms of connectivity, it offers 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro USB and OTG support. Available in Coffee Brown, Champagne and Black colour options, the dual-sim smartphone comes pre-installed with BHIM app and sports a fingerprint sensor at the back.
Karbonn K9 Smart Grand

This handset is also priced at Rs 5,290 and comes with the 5.2-inch FWVGA screen with 480x854p resolution and 2.5D curved glass. The colour options include Champagne and Black and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. Powered by 1.3GHz quad core processor paired with 1GB RAM, the device has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Backed by a 2300mAh battery, the K9 Smart Grand has 8GB internal storage and a 32GB microSD card support. The smartphone offers dual-sim functionality and offers Bluetooth, fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi, Micro USB and OTG support as connectivity options.

Karbonn K9 Smart selfie

Not many details of this handset are available as it is not yet listed on the official company website. According to a release from the company, the handset has an 8MP front camera and comes with a beautification feature to cater to the needs of the selfie lovers. K9 Smart Selfie packs an 8GB of internal storage and a microSD card support of up to 32GB. It runs on an Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by a 2300mAh battery. It comes at a price of Rs 4,890.

Karbonn A1 Indian
The A1 Indian smartphone is priced at Rs 3,640 and comes with 22 regional languages support. It has a 4-inch screen WVGA with 800x480p resolution. It is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core processor with a 1GB RAM and dual sim support. Equipped with a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP selfie camera, the handset is powered by a 1500mAh battery. Colour options include Blue, Coffee Brown, Black and Champagne.
